Who operates the app?
Atlomira Atlas is developed and operated by independent developer Ozan Boz.
Information on your device and in iCloud
No account is required. Passport records (places viewed and saved, saved routes) sync between your own devices through your private iCloud when iCloud is on; this data lives in your iCloud account and Atlomira cannot read it. If iCloud is off for the app, they stay on the device only. Preferences stay on the device. Device or iCloud backups depend on your Apple settings. The app does not request camera or microphone permissions. Location access is optional: if you allow it, your approximate position is used only on the device to show how far places are from you, and it is never stored or sent.
Network connections
The app connects to our API for the photo list and photos. Network information such as your IP address is processed to establish the connection. Visitor access logs are disabled on the API and web server; no advertising profile or visitor identifier is created. Our servers are hosted on a Netcup VPS. Separately from access logs, the firewall and hosting infrastructure may retain technical connection records to prevent and investigate attacks. We do not state an unverified retention period for these records.
Ads in the app (Google Mobile Ads)
The free version shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob), with Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent. Atlomira has no analytics or tracking of its own. When ads load, Google may collect device identifiers (the IDFV, and the advertising identifier IDFA only if you allow tracking), coarse location derived from your IP address, ad interactions (views and taps), diagnostic and performance data, and advertising data. Google uses this to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and improve its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where consent is required, such as in the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent form appears first; iOS then asks whether the app may track you. If you decline, ads are not personalized. Change your choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and, where required, in the app under Settings → Privacy choices. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages, and none are shown once Ad-Free Atlas is purchased. This website has no analytics, advertising, tracking cookies or contact form; fonts and images are served from our own server.
Purchases
Apple handles payments and purchase verification. We do not receive your card details. The app stores purchase status on the device to decide whether to show ads. Apple’s privacy terms apply to Apple services.
Support messages
Support email is received and answered through Zoho Mail (EU region). Your email address and the content you share are used to handle your request and stored in the mailbox. You can request deletion of your message by contacting our support address. Do not send children’s personal information.
